Our seasonal recommendation for your yard

It’s that time of year again. Summer is here, it’s hot outside, and the grass is growing at full speed. So what’s the best way to manage your during this time of year?

Water and frequent mowing

The most commmon lawn species is Bermuda in Augusta and Evans. Bermuda loves to grow quick. And if you only mow your lawn bi-weekly, or even worse tri-weekly, then you are going to experience browing of your turf when it is cut. This is because Bermuda grass only displays the green color on 1/3 of its blade; at the very top.

Because of this, our seasonal recomendation for your yard to look its best is that you water consistently in order to assist your turf through the explicit heat we receive, and to cut the turf weekly so that when it is serviced yellowing doesn’t occur.
